I own a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home just miles from the White House. The Virginia Suburbs will offer you the best access in and out of DC during the Inauguration. Do not try to METRO around DC during the Inauguration Week...during Bush's Inauguration people were waiting 4 hours just to get to one metro stop. Your best bet is to drive directly into DC from either Maryland or VA, I think VA is actually easier. Please respond to this if you are interested and I will send pictures.
